Spinach GTO

Dutch breeding for the professional market

The 'GTO' spinach hybrid from the Enza Zaden breeding house is a direct response to the demands of modern agribusinesses and farms focused on stable, continuous harvesting. In a market that requires not just greens, but a product with impeccable marketability, this F1 hybrid stands out for its predictability and adaptability.

Key advantages

• High vegetation speed: GTO is engineered for intensive cultivation, allowing for shorter production cycles and faster market entry.
• Consistent form: The leaf blade features a distinct texture and deep color, which is critical for the fresh produce segment and pre-packaged baby leaf products.
• Technological efficiency: The hybrid demonstrates excellent resilience to stress factors, minimizing losses during harvesting and logistics.

The breeder, Enza Zaden Beheer B.V., has prioritized the balance between yield and leaf quality. Officially registered in Ukraine in 2026, the variety meets the latest agricultural standards. It is the ideal choice for producers targeting retail chains, where both flavor profile and extended shelf life are paramount.
