Spinach Highcountry

Dutch breeding for modern agriculture

The «Highcountry» spinach is the result of extensive research by the breeders at Enza Zaden Beheer B.V. Dutch experts aimed to develop a variety that combines high adaptability to Eastern European climatic conditions with consistent yields. Its official registration in Ukraine in 2026 solidified its status as a promising variety for professional vegetable production.

Position in the agricultural sector

Within the range of modern spinach hybrids, «Highcountry» stands out for its resilience to environmental stressors. Unlike many alternatives on the market, this variety was specifically adapted for intensive farming conditions. Its state registration in 2026 marked a significant milestone for growers seeking reliable seed material with predictable growth patterns.

The Enza Zaden advantage

As the owner of the variety, Enza Zaden is renowned for a breeding approach that prioritizes both market appeal and genetic purity. «Highcountry» embodies these standards, demonstrating excellent germination and uniform leaf rosette development. For commercial farms, this translates to reduced risk during crop planning and the ability to produce high-quality yields that meet modern market demands.
