Soybean SIBELLA

Field Performance: The SIBELLA Advantage

The 2025 release from RAGT 2n, SIBELLA, is engineered for consistent grain yields across the Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions. The core of this variety’s success lies in its robust vegetative cycle: a semi-determinate growth habit combined with moderate plant height ensures exceptional lodging resistance, a critical factor during heavy rainfall periods when pod filling is at its peak.

Stress Tolerance and Adaptation

SIBELLA exhibits high germination energy, allowing the crop to achieve canopy closure rapidly and utilize soil moisture more efficiently. In the volatile climate of Ukraine, this provides a distinct advantage: the plant develops a strong root system before the onset of peak summer heat. Its mid-maturing group allows the variety to optimize daylight utilization while avoiding critical developmental stages during periods of extreme heat stress.

Morphology and Yield Potential

The variety features a distinct morphology: an upright habit and moderate stem pubescence promote excellent airflow within the canopy, reducing the risk of fungal disease pressure. SIBELLA is visually identifiable by its purple flowers and light brown pods. The seeds are yellow-green with a grey hilum, meeting high-quality grain standards. With a 1000-seed weight ranging from small to medium, the variety maintains a high yield potential, making it a reliable choice for commercial producers focusing on consistent, high-quality output.
