Characterized by an indeterminate growth habit and a semi-erect structure, this hybrid is built to maximize yield potential through efficient resource utilization.

Seeding Density and Establishment

To achieve optimal yield results, the recommended seeding density is between 500,000 and 650,000 viable seeds per hectare. In moisture-stressed areas of the Steppe, it is advisable to target the lower end of this range to reduce inter-plant competition for water. Conversely, in the more moisture-abundant Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions, higher densities up to 650,000 seeds/ha are recommended to capitalize on the available water supply.

Soil Requirements and Crop Care

While STAIN 06N02 performs reliably across various soil types, it thrives best in fertile soils with a neutral or slightly acidic pH. Key management practices include:

• Sowing: Seeds should be planted at a depth of 3–4 cm once soil temperatures reach 10–12°C to ensure uniform emergence.
• Flowering Phase: As a mid-maturing variety, the onset of flowering is moderate. During this critical window, maintaining weed-free conditions is essential to prevent competition and ensure proper pod set.
