Soybean variety Feeria is a medium-maturing universal variety intended for both grain-feed and food purposes. It was developed by the Steppe Agricultural Institute of NAAN of Ukraine and adapted for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie regions. The vegetation period of the variety ranges from 111 to 120 days, with plant height reaching 70–90 cm and the height of the lower pod attachment varying from 15 to 21 cm. The 1000-seed mass falls within the range of 130–150 g, indicating high seed material quality.
Feeria exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including anthracnose, septoria, bacterial blight, fusarium, and viral mosaic, as well as to pest damage. Additionally, the variety shows significant resistance to drought, lodging, and shattering, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The potential yield of soybean Feeria reaches 3.5 tons per hectare, with oil content in seeds at 22–23% and crude protein content at 39–40%, ensuring high nutritional value of the harvest.
To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to sow the medium-maturing variety Feeria using conventional row planting with a seeding rate of 600,000 seeds per hectare. Such agronomic practices in the Steppe region of Ukraine result in yields of 2.7–3.5 tons per hectare and provide high economic returns. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, the Feeria variety is a promising choice for agricultural producers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable soybean yields.
