Ukrainian Early Maturing

Originator: All-Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Selection.

Hybrid registered in the Ukrainian Plant Variety Register since 2001 for the Steppe and Forest-Steppe Zones.

Ultra-early maturing hybrid. Vegetation period 85-90 days.

High resistance to lodging, short stem 100-120 cm. Characterized by high yield combined with a short vegetation period.

Genetically resistant to downy mildew and false powdery mildew, moderately resistant to gray and white rot, tolerant to Phomopsis.

Oil content − 52%.

Flexible sowing periods.

Yield potential is 40 centners per hectare.

Yield achieved in competitive trials − 25.3 35.9-39.5 centners per hectare.

Recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine.
