NK Adagio

The NK Adagio sunflower hybrid is a mid-early maturing variety with a vegetation period of 106 to 120 days, adapted for cultivation in the forest-steppe, northern and central steppe zones of Ukraine. This hybrid belongs to the Clearfield technology, enabling effective use of herbicides Evolightning for weed control. Black seeds are treated with the fungicide and insecticide Cruiser, enhancing protection against pests and diseases during early growth stages. NK Adagio exhibits high growth vigor and adaptability to various growing conditions, including different soil preparation methods. The hybrid demonstrates high yield potential, reaching up to 5 tons per hectare, and stable productivity even under minimal agronomic practices. Plants reach a height of 170-190 cm, and oil content of seeds is 50-52%. NK Adagio has very high drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climatic conditions. Additionally, the hybrid shows high disease tolerance, including resistance to races A-E of downy mildew, fusarium, sclerotinia, and lodging, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest. Recommended planting density is 40-55 thousand plants per hectare, with avoidance of overcrowding for optimal productivity. The NK Adagio hybrid is genetically close to the NK Harmony hybrid and belongs to the intensive moderate type, allowing efficient use in various agronomic systems. High resistance to diseases and drought, along with adaptation to herbicide technologies, make this sunflower a profitable and reliable choice for modern agricultural enterprises.
