NORMAN CP

Sunflower NORMAN CP is a mid-season linoleic hybrid developed using Clearfield Plus technology, providing effective protection against glyphosate and allowing the application of Euro Lightning Plus herbicide. This hybrid exhibits high resistance to glyphosate, including races A, B, C, D, E, and G, and possesses tolerance to major diseases such as black mold of head and stem, powdery mildew, Phomopsis, and Phoma. The plants are tall, and the head shape varies from flat to convex with a slanted orientation, which promotes optimal growth and harvest in forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine.

NORMAN CP is characterized by high drought tolerance and is adapted to harsh climatic conditions, confirmed by stable yields even under insufficient moisture. The vegetation period is approximately 113-118 days, enabling the hybrid to quickly close rows and accumulate vegetative mass. The oil content of seeds is at the level of 47-50%, ensuring high economic efficiency of cultivation. The recommended sowing rate depends on moisture conditions and ranges from 50 to 65 thousand seeds per hectare.

Hybrid NORMAN CP is suitable for cultivation under continental conditions and is oriented toward maximum yield in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine. Its high growth energy and stress resistance make it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve stable and high sunflower yields with high-quality oil content. The use of Clearfield Plus technology in combination with genetic resistance to glyphosate significantly reduces herbicide load and enhances the effectiveness of crop protection.
