The MANDROID CL sunflower is a mid-early hybrid from the French selection company Maisadour Semences, recommended for cultivation in various natural zones of Ukraine, including the Steppe and Forest-Steppe. This hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and the ability to quickly adapt to growing conditions, allowing yields of up to 50 centners/ha in any region of the country. The seeds undergo processing at a modern seed factory using Cimbria Haid (Denmark) equipment, and all products are accompanied by certificates confirming sowing quality.
One of the key features of MANDROID CL is its genetic resistance to six races of the parasitic weed Striga (A-F), as well as to most sunflower diseases. The hybrid is also resistant to herbicides based on imidazolinones, enabling effective weed control without phytotoxicity when application guidelines are followed. This ensures clean crops and promotes stable plant development.
In addition, MANDROID CL has the ability to maintain optimal growth and development rates even under conditions of insufficient soil moisture. The hybrid's root system can extract water and essential nutrients from depths of up to 2.5-3 meters, enhancing its resistance to stress factors and promoting high yields. The hybrid has been officially registered in the Ukrainian Plant Variety Register since 2017, confirming its adaptability and effectiveness in local agroclimatic conditions.
