Bollil sunflower is an early-maturing simple hybrid with a vegetative period of 102-105 days. The stem height reaches 170-180 cm, and flowering occurs on day 53-58. The head is heavy, convex in shape with a full inclination, ensuring good central filling and high seed quality. Seeds are broadly oval, black in color without stripes, and possess excellent taste qualities.
The hybrid shows high resistance to lodging, seed shattering, and head breakage, significantly facilitating harvest and improving crop retention. Bollil has double resistance to downy mildew races, as well as resistance to fomopsis and various stem and head rots. Due to these characteristics, the plant demonstrates high disease resistance and tolerance to adverse conditions.
It is recommended to grow Bollil from seedlings, although for decorative purposes, direct sowing in the ground in mid-May is possible. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various soil-climate zones and shows drought tolerance. High yield and adaptability make Bollil an excellent choice for farmers seeking a high-quality and stable sunflower harvest.
