Spinach Trombone F1 is a high-yielding early hybrid from Dutch selection, intended for cultivation in open and protected soil. The plant forms a compact, slightly raised rosette of medium size with large, smooth, oval leaves of dark emerald green. The leaves have slight or absent blistering and short petioles, giving them an attractive appearance and ease of use. The plant height reaches 30-32 cm, diameter up to 55 cm, and leaf mass up to 80 g. Due to its decorative qualities, Spinach Trombone F1 can be used not only in cooking but also in landscape design.
This hybrid is resistant to bolting and completely immune to downy mildew, significantly simplifying care and increasing crop reliability. The vegetative period is 38-42 days, allowing spinach to be grown several times per season. The plant prefers moderate climates and poorly tolerates both low temperatures and heat, so the optimal sowing period is from early April to early June and from late July to early September. For high yields, it is recommended to plant spinach in fertile soil with regular watering.
Spinach Trombone F1 has a pleasant taste and aroma, making it a versatile product for culinary use. Its leaves are suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, soups, side dishes, as well as for canning and freezing. Thanks to its high yield — up to 1.3-2 kg per square meter — and ability to be stored fresh for up to 14 days, this variety is an excellent choice for both home cultivation and commercial production.
