Description HODSON
Hodson F1 Spinach is an early hybrid variety with a growing period of 37-40 days, developed by the Dutch company Hazera. This variety is distinguished by its high adaptability to various growing conditions, resistance to pests, downy mildew, and bolting. The plant withstands low temperatures and short-term frosts well, allowing cultivation from early February to late October both in open ground and protected ground.

Plants form a semi-erect rosette of medium size, with a diameter of up to 60 cm and a height of about 30-35 cm, with a leaf mass of up to 90 g. The leaves of Hodson spinach have a dark green color, are large, slightly blistered or shiny, round or elongated in shape with thick and uniform-sized petioles. Such greens have a pleasant taste, attractive appearance, and can maintain freshness for a long time.

Hodson F1 Spinach is widely used in cooking: leaves are added to salads, vegetable dishes, baked goods, juices, smoothies, and sauces. Due to its resistance and rapid growth, crops are sown twice a year - from early February to late March and from early August to mid-October. In addition, greens are excellent for freezing, which allows to preserve their useful properties for a long period.
