Description Hudson
Hudson Spinach F1 — an early hybrid variety developed by the Dutch company Hazera, with a vegetation period of 37-40 days. This variety is characterized by high adaptability to various growing conditions, resistance to low temperatures, short-term frosts, pests, false powdery mildew, and bolting. Due to these qualities, Hudson F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected greenhouses, as well as on windowsills, allowing harvest almost year-round — from early February to late October.

The plants form a semi-upright rosette of medium size, with a diameter of up to 60 cm and a height of about 30-35 cm. The spinach leaves are large, dark green, slightly puckered, oval or elongated in shape, with thick and even petioles. The greens have a pleasant taste, attractive appearance, and retain freshness for a long time. Due to the convexity of the leaves, the plants do not overheat during packaging, ensuring high transportability and good product storage.

Hudson Spinach F1 is widely used fresh for preparing salads, vegetable dishes, baked goods, juices, smoothies, and sauces. It is also excellent for freezing and processing. The yield of this variety is 1-1.4 kg per square meter, making it profitable for commercial cultivation and marketing of fresh produce. Planting is carried out in two main periods: from early February to late March and from early August to mid-October, allowing for several harvests per year.
