The ESAUL celery variety is a mid-season root crop with a maturity period from emergence to technical ripeness of 150-160 days. The root crop is distinguished by its rounded shape with elongation at the top, large size, and grayish-white color with a smooth surface. The flesh is white, and the side roots are located low, which facilitates pulling the root crop out of the soil. The fruit mass usually ranges from 250 to 300 grams but can reach up to 900 grams. The immersion of the root crop in the soil is moderate, which facilitates harvest collection.
The ESAUL variety is characterized by good storability and high transportability, making it convenient for storage and transport. The root crops contain mineral salts and essential oils, which makes consuming celery beneficial for removing salts from the body and increasing overall tone. The yield of the variety is 3.0-3.5 kg per square meter, which is a good indicator for mid-season celery varieties.
For growing the ESAUL variety, it is recommended to sow seedlings in mid-February to early March, and seedling planting in open ground is carried out at the end of May in a 35x40 cm scheme. This variety is excellent for use fresh in salads and as side dishes for meat dishes, making it universal and in demand in cooking.
