SMART GIOCONDA KWS

Sugar beet SMART GIOCONDA KWS is the benchmark for stable yield among SMART hybrids in Ukraine. This mid-season hybrid of the CONVISO SMART system exhibits high resistance to rhizomania, cercospora, and powdery mildew, ensuring reliable plant protection and stable yields under various soil-climatic conditions. Due to its reduced need for herbicide applications, this hybrid contributes to lower ecological load on soil and the environment.

SMART GIOCONDA KWS is characterized by high sugar content in roots — from 18 to 19% — making it a high-sugar type with excellent technological qualities and juice purity. It is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, as well as for fields infested with sugar beet weed. The hybrid is suitable for early and mid-season harvesting, allowing optimization of agronomic practices and improved harvest efficiency.

The yield potential of SMART GIOCONDA KWS reaches 80 tons per hectare at the recommended planting density of 95–110 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid was registered in 2018 and belongs to the SMART-seed group, confirming its modernity and compliance with high selection standards.
