Strawberry NF633

Italian breeding for professionals: the potential of the NF633 variety

In the berry market, products from the Italian nursery New Fruits S.A.S. have long earned a reputation as reliable material for intensive farming. The NF633 variety is the result of years of work by breeders Bernardini and Danesi, aimed at creating strawberries with high yields in open field conditions.

Agronomic profile and resistance

The key advantage of NF633 is its genetic resilience. In industrial growing, where the risk of crop loss from soil-borne pathogens is critically high, the variety demonstrates marked resistance to Verticillium wilt and Phytophthora root rot. This allows farmers to minimize the use of fungicides, which is essential for producing high-quality berries.

• Ripening time: late-season variety (50-60 days), which is advantageous for extending the harvest season and entering the market during periods of fresh produce scarcity.
• Yield: consistently high performance (2.0+ kg per plant with proper care), making it attractive for the commercial sector.
• Fruit quality: the berry has a bright, saturated red color, which, combined with a dense structure, ensures excellent marketability.

Purpose and application strategy

NF633 is versatile in its application: it is ideal for the fresh market segment, where appearance and taste are paramount, as well as for processing facilities. Due to its dense consistency, the berry tolerates transportation well, a crucial factor for modern logistics chains. By choosing this variety, farmers gain a tool for predictable and profitable business, backed by the European breeding standards of New Fruits S.A.S.
