Strawberry DrisStrawFortySeven

Optimizing Marketability: The Strategy Behind «DrisStrawFortySeven»

For commercial growers focused on the fresh market, the choice of variety determines profitability. «DrisStrawFortySeven» by Driscolls is engineered specifically for producers who demand superior shelf life, firmness, and aesthetic consistency—the primary requirements of modern retail chains.

Field Performance and Production Goals

As a non-everbearing variety with a medium ripening window (40-50 days), this selection allows for a concentrated harvest schedule. This is a significant logistical advantage, enabling farm managers to optimize labor costs and manage seasonal peaks effectively in open-field conditions.

• Market-Ready Quality: The dark red, conical berries possess a high degree of firmness, making them highly resilient during transport and retail handling.
• Cultivation Versatility: Designed for open-field operations, the variety performs best when paired with standard intensive practices, such as precision drip irrigation and high-quality mulching.
• Commercial Use: This variety is a top-tier candidate for fresh-market sales where appearance and post-harvest durability are non-negotiable.

Choosing «DrisStrawFortySeven» means prioritizing the final stage of the value chain. By balancing a predictable ripening cycle with a robust fruit structure, Driscolls has provided a reliable tool for growers aiming to minimize shrinkage and ensure that the berries reach the end consumer in pristine condition, regardless of the distance from the field.
