Description SY JULIETTA
SY JULIETTA winter rapeseed seeds are a medium-maturing hybrid with high yield potential and excellent winter hardiness. This variety features rapid autumn development and medium plant height, promoting good adaptation to various climatic conditions. Oil content exceeds 46%, and glucosinolate content is low, making the product high-quality and in demand. SY JULIETTA is resistant to turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV) and shows enhanced resistance to diseases such as fusarium and sclerotinia, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and minimizing the need for frequent fungicide applications. For maximum productivity, SY JULIETTA should be grown on well-prepared, fertile soils with good drainage. Optimal sowing dates vary depending on region and climatic conditions, but early sowing is preferred to maximize the vegetative period. Seeding rate ranges from 450,000 to 600,000 seeds per hectare, depending on soil type and growing conditions. Key agronomic practices include deep plowing and soil surface leveling before sowing, as well as timely application of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers. In case of insufficient rainfall, regular irrigation is recommended to maintain optimal plant growth. One of the key advantages of SY JULIETTA is seed treatment with the insecticide protectant CRUISER, which provides reliable protection against pests during early growth stages, including aphids, rapeseed hidden stem borer, sawfly, and cabbage pod gall midge. Due to intensive early development, plants exhibit high competitiveness against weeds, reducing herbicide applications and promoting more ecological farming practices. SY JULIETTA is recommended for cultivation in all rapeseed-growing regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe, confirming its versatility and adaptability.
