STEFANO KWS

STEFANO KWS winter rapeseed seeds are a high-yielding, mid-season hybrid developed by KWS. This variety features stable regenerative capacity in spring and is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including regions of Ukraine. Recommended sowing dates are optimal and late, allowing flexible planning of agronomic operations. The cultivation technology is predominantly conventional, ensuring ease of application and compatibility with traditional farming methods.

The STEFANO KWS hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging, fusarium (with RLM7 resistance gene), and pod cracking, significantly reducing yield losses and improving product quality. Autumn growth is moderate, while the plant demonstrates vigorous branching, promoting the formation of a strong and productive above-ground mass. Winter hardiness is rated at 6 points, and lodging resistance at 7 points, making this variety a reliable choice for regions with harsh winter conditions.

The potential yield of STEFANO KWS is 45–55 centners per hectare at the recommended seeding rate of 400–500 thousand seeds per hectare. High oil content in seeds (5 points) ensures high-quality raw material for the oil and fat industry. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is widely used in agriculture for achieving stable and high yields of winter rapeseed.
