Taifun is a hybrid of winter rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus), distinguished by its early maturity, compactness, and high yield potential. It features uniform ripening and excellent regenerative capacity, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in regions with challenging climatic conditions. The hybrid is included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region and is recommended for cultivation in the Krasnodar Krai.

One of the key features of Taifun is its high winter hardiness, ensuring successful winter survival even under harsh weather conditions. Breeders have also stabilized in the hybrid traits of prolonged homogeneous flowering and heat tolerance, allowing the plant to retain pods and minimize yield losses during critical weather events during the flowering phase. The average yield of the hybrid is 12.9 centners per hectare, which is 2.8 centners higher than the standard.
