Description
The PT312 hybrid has high resistance to TuYV virus, as well as a Pioneer Protector® gene conferring resistance to sclerotinia, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. Additionally, it demonstrates high tolerance to premature cracking and verticillium, confirmed by trials in Ukraine and Europe. PT312 can withstand delayed harvest of mature plants without mechanical impact on pods, facilitating harvest and improving yield quality.
To achieve maximum yield, which may exceed 60 c/ha under production conditions, PT312 should be sown with wide row spacing (from 12.5 to 70 cm) using a drill with simultaneous soil loosening. Avoiding overcrowding and applying azole and growth regulator with boron 2-3 weeks before winter dormancy is crucial. At optimal sowing times, the hybrid shows yield increases of over 12%, and at late sowing — about 9%, with average grain moisture at harvest around 5%. PT312 is a reliable choice for farmers aiming for high and stable quality winter rapeseed yields.
