Winter rapeseed PT323 is a high-yielding, medium-maturing hybrid with 47% oil content, ensuring high economic efficiency in cultivation. Plants reach heights from 156 to 197 cm and exhibit high cold and drought resistance, enabling successful cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. PT323 is adapted to a wide range of soil conditions with varying humus and pH levels, making it a versatile choice for farmers.
The variety shows high resistance to diseases, including resistance to TuYV virus, high tolerance to sclerotinia, and specific resistance to fome due to the presence of the new RlmS gene and quantitative resistance. These traits contribute to plant health and stable high yields, reaching up to 60 c/ha under production conditions. Flowering in PT323 is medium, allowing flexible planning of agronomic practices.
To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to sow rapeseed with wide row spacing from 12.5 to 70 cm, combined with soil loosening. A key element of agronomy is growth regulation not later than the BBCH14 stage, especially when early sowing is practiced, as well as desiccation application in cases of prolonged ripening. Prior to winter dormancy, it is advisable to treat plants with azoles and growth regulators supplemented with boron, especially when plants are excessively vigorous. This comprehensive approach ensures high yield and product quality.
