Rapeseed Ludger

Ludger — a high-yielding winter rapeseed hybrid of the new generation from DSV, designed for cultivation in various soil-climate zones of Ukraine. This hybrid is characterized by stable high yield, reaching potential up to 70 c/ha, as well as high oil content, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking maximum return from their crops. Ludger demonstrates active autumn development of both underground and above-ground biomass, facilitating successful adaptation and growth under various conditions. The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV) and high field tolerance to major rapeseed diseases such as verticillium wilt, cylindrical spore disease, and phomopsis. Additionally, Ludger exhibits good winter hardiness and drought resistance rated at 7-8 points, cold tolerance, drought resistance, and lodging resistance, ensuring reliable cultivation even in challenging climatic conditions. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine and demonstrates stable performance even in unfavorable years. The hybrid Ludger is suitable for sowing in mid-late seasons, expanding farmers' options in planning their sowing campaign. Its adaptability to biotic and abiotic stresses, as well as high productivity, make it one of the leaders among winter rapeseed hybrids in the European market. This hybrid is recommended for all rapeseed cultivation climate zones, ensuring stability and high-quality harvests.
