Description Marvin
The hybrid sunflower Marvin is a high-oleic variety designed for conventional cultivation. It belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a vegetation period of 105-110 days. Marvin is distinguished by its high oil content — around 52%, and oleic acid content reaching 93%, making it especially valuable for producing high-quality oil. The hybrid's yield potential reaches up to 50 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity.

One of the key features of the Marvin hybrid is its high resistance to adverse conditions. It demonstrates very high drought tolerance, allowing successful cultivation in arid regions. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to lodging and shattering, and it is protected against seven races (A-G) of downy mildew, fomosis, and new strains of false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss.

The recommended planting density varies depending on climatic conditions: for arid regions, the optimal rate is 55-65 thousand plants per hectare, and for regions with normal humidity — 65-70 thousand plants per hectare. Its semi-erect growth habit and intensive growth make Marvin suitable for mechanized harvesting and ensure stable yields. All these characteristics make the Marvin hybrid a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality and high-yielding sunflower.
