Gk Gabriella

GK Gabriella is a high-yielding winter rapeseed variety with a medium-early maturity period and a vegetation period of 270–280 days. The seeds are characterized by high oil content — 44–46%, which ensures the production of high-quality raw materials for the oilseeds industry. The mass of 1000 seeds is 5–5.5 grams, and the degree of branching is above average, which contributes to good development and crop formation. The flowering period lasts 25–27 days, which allows for effective use of the vegetation period for biomass accumulation and seed formation.

The variety is distinguished by excellent adaptation to various growing conditions, including No-Till and Mini-Till technologies, which makes it universal for modern agrotechnologies. GK Gabriella has high winter hardiness (9 points) and frost resistance (8 points), as well as good drought resistance (8 points). Low sensitivity to shattering (9 points) allows for harvesting without using desiccation, which reduces costs and increases production eco-friendliness. The seeds are treated with a fungicidal seed treatment, which provides protection against diseases in the early stages of development.

The potential yield of the variety under production conditions is 4.5–5.0 tons per hectare, and on variety testing plots reaches 5.0–5.3 tons per hectare. The glucosinolate content is within 10–11 mmol/g, which meets quality requirements. In the oil composition, there is a high content of monounsaturated fatty acids (60–65%) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (30–35%), as well as total unsaturated fatty acids 5–8%, which makes the product useful and in demand. The recommended sowing rate ranges from 700 thousand seeds per hectare at the beginning of optimal terms to 800 thousand seeds when sowing at the end of the optimal period.
