Description Jesper
The hybrid winter rapeseed Jesper is a high-yielding variety of late maturity group, characterized by high winter hardiness and frost resistance. Thanks to its rapid development from autumn, Jesper is suitable for late sowing and demonstrates average vegetative recovery rates in spring. Plants feature a strong structure and large seeds, which contribute to high oil content and resistance to common diseases, including phomopsis due to the presence of the Rlm7 gene.

Jesper has a high yield potential, reaching 50-55 centners per hectare under optimal growing conditions, such as application of high fertilizer doses and adequate rainfall. The hybrid demonstrates excellent resistance to lodging and pod cracking, significantly simplifying harvest and improving crop quality. The recommended seeding rate is 450-500 thousand seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant development and maximum productivity.

Special attention is given to the quality characteristics of the seeds: Jesper has very low glucosinolate content, which improves nutritional value and product safety. High oil content in the seeds makes this hybrid attractive for the oil industry. Jesper also exhibits good adaptation to minimal and late sowing, expanding its cultivation possibilities in various agroclimatic conditions.
