Description Ermak
YERMAK is a mid-early spring rape (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00 variety, which means the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. The variety was created using individual selection from a hybrid combination LG 3260 x Ratnik and is characterized by high adaptability to agro-climatic conditions of various regions of Russia, including Northern, Middle Volga, Ural, Western Siberian, and Eastern Siberian. Plants reach a height of about 97-99 cm, have medium foliage, and green leaves with a waxy coating. The vegetative period is 76-82 days, which allows for a stable yield in mid-early terms. The YERMAK variety is characterized by high productivity of both seeds and fodder mass. Average dry matter yield reaches 32.9 c/ha, and maximum - 63.8 c/ha, while fat content in seeds varies from 44.2 to 50.0%. The mass of 1000 seeds is 3.5-3.6 g. Rape is resistant to shattering and lodging, which facilitates mechanized harvesting. Moreover, the variety shows resistance to major diseases such as alternaria, phoma, downy mildew, and fusarium, as well as to pests, including cabbage fleas and rape flower weevil. YERMAK is recommended for cultivation for oilseed and fodder purposes, making it a universal choice for agricultural enterprises. High oil and meal quality, stable yield, and adaptability to various climatic conditions ensure economic efficiency of cultivation. The variety is suitable for classic cultivation technology and recommended for regions with various agro-climatic features, including the Tomsk region and other regions of Russia.
