Description GRANER
The GRANER sunflower hybrid is a medium-maturing, simple hybrid with a vegetative period of 100 to 115 days, allowing effective use in various climatic conditions. Plants reach an average height of about 170 cm, and the flat flower head with a diameter of 20-22 cm has a semi-tilted orientation. Seeds are characterized by high oil content, ranging from 47% to 52%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production.

GRANER was developed using Clearfield® technology, providing resistance to imidazolinone (IMI) herbicides, including the herbicide Granstar. This resistance enables effective control of broadleaf weeds, reducing protection costs and increasing yield. The seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture: in adequately moist zones, 60-65 thousand plants per hectare are recommended, while in less moist zones — 55-60 thousand.

The GRANER hybrid exhibits high yield potential, reaching 49-55 centners per hectare, confirmed by cultivation experience in the Central Chernozem region. Thanks to its combination of high productivity, herbicide resistance, and superior seed quality, this sunflower is a profitable choice for agricultural producers aiming to enhance profitability and quality of oilseed products.
