Rapeseed DK Sensei

Stable yields in challenging farming conditions

The winter oilseed rape "DK Sensei" from Monsanto is a solution for farmers focused on risk mitigation. Unlike many intensive hybrids that require perfect conditions, "DK Sensei" demonstrates remarkable plasticity. It is a prime example of how the biological characteristics of a variety can compensate for minor agronomic shortcomings or adverse wintering weather.

Genetically embedded protection

The key advantage of this hybrid is its high resistance to a complex of pathogens that typically cause significant yield losses. A robust immune response to phoma, blackleg, and root rot makes "DK Sensei" a reliable tool for farms practicing traditional crop rotation and aiming to reduce pesticide usage.

• Oil content: With a content of 40-45% and a yield potential of 50-60 c/ha, it offers high profitability for processors and exporters.
• Simple hybrid structure: The uniformity of the crop simplifies harvesting and minimizes losses at the combine.
• Adaptability: It responds well to intensive fertilization programs but remains stable even with moderate nutrient inputs.

Who is this hybrid for? "DK Sensei" is ideal for farmers whose fields are prone to high infection pressure or have a history of root system diseases. It is a workhorse that forgives sowing errors and delivers predictable results where more demanding hybrids might fail. To reach its full potential of 60 c/ha, we recommend focusing on timely fungicide applications during critical growth stages.
