Cultus CL is a medium-late hybrid of winter rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00, characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. Developed using Clearfield® technology, it provides effective weed control and allows the use of specialized herbicides. Medium-height plants exhibit high resistance to lodging and pod cracking, contributing to yield retention and reduced losses during harvest.
The Cultus CL hybrid demonstrates high drought and spring frost tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Altai regions. Grain yield is high, with average yields in the Altai region reaching 16.7 c/ha and maximum yields of 21.3 c/ha. Seed oil content ranges from 46.7–49.0 %, ensuring high-quality raw material for the oilseed industry.
For sowing, the recommended seeding rate is 650,000 to 800,000 viable seeds per hectare, depending on the sowing time: early, optimal, or late.
