CURRY CL — a mid-season hybrid of winter rapeseed type 00 (non-erucic, low-glucosinolate), intended for cultivation under the Clearfield system. It is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to soil types, enabling successful cultivation under various conditions. The vegetation period is approximately 104 days, and the hybrid is included in the State Register for the East Siberian region. CURRY CL exhibits high drought resistance and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions.
The hybrid features an intensive growth pattern, especially when planted early or at optimal times. It develops rapidly during early stages, reaches mid-late flowering, and attains medium plant height. CURRY CL is distinguished by its high lateral branching ability and formation of numerous pods, contributing to high yield potential. The average yield in the region is 18.6 ц/ha, which is 3.4 ц/ha higher than the standard, while the maximum yield recorded in 2016 reached 41.3 ц/ha.
The seeds of the hybrid have high oil content — from 42.0% to 45.1%, exceeding standard values by 4.7–5.5%. The 1000-seed weight is approximately 4.1 g. CURRY CL shows high resistance to diseases, receiving maximum ratings for this parameter. The hybrid responds well to application of mineral fertilizers, allowing further enhancement of crop productivity. Recommended seeding rates depend on planting time: for early planting — 650,000–700,000 seeds per hectare; for optimal planting — 700,000–750,000.
