Asteran

Asteran — an autumn rapeseed hybrid developed for efficient cultivation in wide-row plantings. It is characterized by high energy of early development in autumn, ensuring good rooting and growth of plants in early stages. The hybrid has high drought resistance and genetic resistance to major diseases, including phomopsis (gene RLM7) and cylindrical sporiosis, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. In addition, Asteran exhibits genetic resistance to pod cracking, which helps preserve seed quality and quantity during harvest.

The oil content in Asteran seeds ranges from 47 to 50%, making this hybrid attractive to the oilseed industry. The recommended seeding rate is 350,000 to 500,000 seeds per hectare, which allows optimizing planting density and increasing yield. Seeds are coated and packaged in paper bags, ensuring convenient storage and planting.

For harvest preparation, Asteran plantings are treated using modern technologies such as drone-assisted desiccation. This method enables precise and rapid drying of plants, minimizing damage and yield losses. This approach ensures high-quality threshing and maximizes seed retention.
