Rapeseed Alisher

Stability and Oil Content: The Case for Alisher

In a market flooded with expensive imported hybrids that demand a perfect environment, the «Alisher» rapeseed variety from the Prykarpattia State Agricultural Research Station remains a proven tool for those seeking predictability. As an open-pollinated variety, it offers a unique advantage: the ability to use your own harvested seeds without losing productivity, which significantly reduces costs per hectare.

Key Specifications

• Type: Population variety (no need for annual seed procurement);
• Oil Content: 45–50%;
• Origin: Ukraine (bred for local climatic stress resistance).

Why choose Alisher?

The main strength of this variety is its high environmental plasticity. Unlike many sensitive hybrids, Alisher delivers stable results even when planting dates are missed or winter conditions are harsh. An oil content of up to 50% makes it attractive to crushers who prioritize raw material quality over green biomass volume.

The variety is notably resistant to shattering and lodging. This allows agronomists to manage harvest schedules flexibly without fear of significant losses if machinery is delayed. It is optimal for farms with moderate intensification levels, where the goal is guaranteed profit rather than record-breaking yields, while simultaneously minimizing the risks associated with poor seed germination.

The drawback is a slightly lower yield potential compared to intensive F1 hybrids under perfect conditions. However, on poorer soils or in high-risk farming zones, this variety often outperforms more expensive options due to its sheer endurance.
