KWS APACHE CL sunflower is a mid-season hybrid developed using German breeding and intended for cultivation under the Clearfield system. This hybrid is characterized by high productivity and resistance to various races of the parasitic weed Palmer amaranth (A-F), making it especially valuable for Ukrainian farms where the threat of Palmer amaranth infestation is significant. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, and the flower head diameter ranges from 17 to 21 cm, contributing to high yield with oil content in seeds reaching 50-52%. KWS APACHE CL exhibits tolerance to several diseases, including fusarium, fusarium wilt, false powdery mildew, as well as pathogens such as Phoma, Sclerotinia, and Plasmopara halstedii. The hybrid has a medium yield potential (45-48 kg/ha) and belongs to the Semitardiv maturity group, allowing successful cultivation across various soil-climate zones of Ukraine, including steppe and forest-steppe regions. Seeds of this hybrid have a medium size and easily convex shape, facilitating handling and sowing. Seed production of KWS APACHE CL is carried out in Ukraine using modern technologies, ensuring high-quality planting material. The hybrid is suitable for agricultural purposes aimed at achieving stable and high sunflower yields with high oil content. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance to pests and diseases, KWS APACHE CL is a reliable choice for farmers seeking efficient and profitable sunflower cultivation.
