Chickling vetch Malenkii Prints

Field Performance and Cultivation

When working with the 'Malenkiy Prints' (Little Prince) chickling vetch variety, the key to success lies in its predictable 90–120 day vegetation cycle. Developed by the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, this variety is designed for farmers who prioritize efficiency and clear-cut management over complex trial-and-error.

Operational Advantages for the Agronomist

• Mechanized Harvesting: One of the main advantages of this variety is the uniform plant height. For the equipment operator, this means less downtime during combine adjustments and significantly lower harvest losses.
• Agronomic Reliability: The variety shows strong resistance to lodging, which is a critical factor during the harvesting window. It is remarkably responsive to standard agricultural practices without requiring heavy input investments.
• Crop Utility: Renowned for its high protein content, this vetch is a staple for livestock feed programs. It performs consistently even on soils that are considered less than optimal for standard legumes.

For a farm operator, 'Malenkiy Prints' acts as a reliable tool in the field. It eliminates the unpredictability often associated with imported hybrids, offering a balanced approach to feed production that fits seamlessly into existing crop rotations.
