Pumpkin MOZOLIYTSKY 15

A Reliable Choice for Efficient Melon Growing

The "Mozoliivskyi 15" variety, developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS of Ukraine, is a proven selection designed for stable commercial production. Farmers choose this vining variety when they need a reliable crop that combines impressive fruit size with excellent transportability and storage life.

Practical Applications in the Field

With an average fruit weight ranging from 4 to 8 kg and an oval shape, this variety is highly versatile for various agricultural business models:

• Industrial Processing: Thanks to its consistent pulp quality, the variety is a preferred raw material for juice, puree, and baby food manufacturing plants.
• Retail and Fresh Markets: The oval shape is highly valued for logistics, as the fruits stack efficiently, minimizing transit damage and maintaining a professional appearance during seasonal storage.
• Livestock Feeding: In diversified farms, the variety serves as a high-quality nutritional supplement, providing livestock with essential vitamins and minerals during winter periods.

As a vining variety, it requires careful management of plant density. Overcrowding can negatively affect fruit size, so adhering to recommended planting patterns is essential for maximizing yield. "Mozoliivskyi 15" is highly adaptable to various soil types and climatic conditions across Ukraine, demonstrating strong resilience to environmental stressors compared to more sensitive hybrid varieties.

Why Professionals Choose It

The core advantage of "Mozoliivskyi 15" is its predictability. It is a straightforward, low-maintenance variety that thrives under standard agricultural practices. Producers prefer it for its uniform fruit size, which simplifies sorting and packaging. By implementing basic weed control and consistent irrigation, growers can ensure a high-quality, uniform crop that meets the standards of wholesale buyers.
