Pumpkin Golden Dome

The Golden Dome pumpkin variety belongs to mid-late maturing varieties with a maturity period from 112 to 138 days. The plant is long-vined, reaching lengths up to 7 meters, which requires certain care, including pinching off side vines and the main stem, regular watering, weeding, and soil loosening. It is grown mainly in open ground; sowing seeds is recommended in May-June when the soil temperature reaches 10-12°C, with a sowing depth of 4-6 cm and a planting scheme of 60x60 cm. The yield of the variety reaches 15 kg per square meter, making it attractive for home and commercial growing. Golden Dome pumpkins have an oval or round shape with a smooth or weakly segmented surface. The skin is thin, and the flesh is creamy and yellow, loose, with a thickness of 4-5 cm. The fruit mass varies from 10 to 20 kg and more, allowing them to be used for various culinary purposes. The taste of the pumpkin is good, which confirms its popularity among gardeners and chefs. The variety is recommended for stewing, baking, as well as for preparing pancakes, salads with honey and vegetables, candied fruits, and pie fillings. The pumpkin seeds of this variety are especially nutritious and healthy, containing up to 28% protein, and fresh pumpkin juice is considered a real health elixir. Thanks to its commercial and taste qualities, Golden Dome is a universal and in-demand variety for home cooking.
