Madam

Soft spring wheat of the Madam variety is an intensive mid-early variety intended for producing high-quality grain used in the baking industry. The plants are medium height, ranging from 75 to 95 cm, with short stems and a naked-type ear. The variety is distinguished by its early ripening and universality of application, which allows it to be adapted to various sowing dates and agrotechnical conditions.

Madam has high resistance to adverse weather conditions due to increased frost hardiness and winter hardiness, as well as good drought resistance. The variety demonstrates high tolerance to leaf diseases, such as brown rust, fusarium head blight, septoria, and other leaf spots. In addition, it is resistant to shattering and lodging, which contributes to crop preservation and improved grain quality.

The grain quality indicators of the Madam variety are high: the 1000 grain mass ranges from 35 to 45 grams, protein content varies within 12-14%, and gluten reaches 25-28%. The potential yield of the variety reaches 100-110 centners per hectare, making it attractive for intensive farming. Due to its milling and baking qualities, the Madam variety is widely used for producing high-quality bakery products.
