Sunflower Vivat is a high-tech hybrid for oilseed production, developed by the Selection and Genetic Institute – National Center for Seed Science and Variety Study. This mid-early variety with a vegetation period of 108–110 days is intended for cultivation in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. Vivat is characterized by high potential yield, reaching 3.7–4.3 tons per hectare, as well as high oil content in seeds — around 50.5%. Protein content is 22–23%, ensuring oil collection of 1.5–2.0 tons per hectare.
One of the key features of sunflower Vivat is its resistance to new strains of downy mildew (strains A–F) and false powdery mildew (strain 730), which significantly reduces the risk of yield losses and enhances production stability. The hybrid has a simple row-type structure, facilitating agronomic practices and enabling effective use in various agroclimatic conditions.
