Sunflower variety "ORESHCHOK" is a high-yield and early-maturing type, bred in Russia and successfully grown in various regions, including Ukraine and the Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, and West Siberian regions. This variety is distinguished by an early ripening period with a vegetative period of up to 100 days, which allows harvesting one of the earliest among sunflowers. The height of the adult plant reaches about 175 cm, and the powerful stem ensures stability and good development of inflorescences with yellow medium-sized heads.
"ORESHCHOK" seeds are large, widely oval in shape with a characteristic dark gray striping, possess high oil content — from 46 to 50%. Seed kernels are characterized by nutritional value, high protein and fat content, as well as an excellent taste, which makes this variety universal for use in the confectionery industry and oil production. High initial growth energy and seed germination ensure good survival and plant development.
The "ORESHCHOK" variety is distinguished by resistance to main sunflower diseases, such as dodder, moth, and false powdery mildew, as well as to drought and stress factors. The level of resistance to these diseases is assessed as high, which contributes to stable yield, averaging 32-35 centners per hectare. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, "ORESHCHOK" is a reliable choice for growing in various agro-climatic conditions.
