MAS 89M

Sunflower MAS 89M is a mid-season linoleic-type hybrid characterized by high yield potential and stability under various soil-climatic conditions. The vegetation period ranges from 105 to 118 days, allowing the hybrid to be successfully grown in the forest-steppe and steppe regions of Ukraine. Plants have medium height, and the flower head is convex with a semi-upright inclination, which promotes good filling and formation of yield.

The MAS 89M hybrid features high seed oil content at 54% and 1000-seed weight ranging from 53 to 59 grams, ensuring high growth energy and productivity. It demonstrates excellent adaptation to stressful growing conditions and possesses high resistance to common sunflower diseases, such as Phomopsis, white mold of head and stem, powdery mildew, and downy mildew races A, B, C, D, and E. Thanks to this, MAS 89M maintains a good phytosanitary profile and ensures stable yield even under adverse conditions.

MAS 89M is recommended for cultivation in various agro-climatic zones, where it shows high yield potential up to 50 centners per hectare under optimal conditions. This hybrid is distinguished by high tolerance to diseases and stress, making it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality and stable sunflower yield with good oil content and large seeds.
