Sunflower Fusia KL is a mid-season linoleic hybrid developed for cultivation using Clearfield technology, ensuring resistance to the herbicide EuroLightning. The hybrid's vegetation period ranges from 106 to 115 days, with plant height varying between 150-170 cm. The head diameter reaches 22-24 cm with a characteristic downward tilt at an angle of 135°. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 50 g, and the oil content in seeds ranges from 48-51%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production. Fusia KL hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching a potential of up to 55 c/ha, and demonstrates stable performance under various soil and climate conditions, especially in forest-steppe zones. It possesses high adaptability and drought resistance, confirmed by a 9-point rating for drought tolerance. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to lodging (8 points), which contributes to crop preservation and facilitates harvesting. Special attention is given to Fusia KL's resistance to major sunflower diseases. The hybrid exhibits high tolerance to phoma, phomopsis, false powdery mildew, verticillium, sclerotinia of the head and stem, as well as white rot. It is genetically resistant to 9 races of powdery mildew and 6-9 races of shothole, significantly reducing crop loss risks. Thanks to these characteristics and high oil content, the Fusia KL hybrid is the optimal choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower crop.
