Sunflower Bambo is a medium-maturing hybrid of Ukrainian selection with a vegetation period of 125-135 days. It is characterized by high initial growth intensity, rated at 9 points, which ensures rapid plant development and good adaptation to various growing conditions. The hybrid has excellent drought resistance and stress tolerance at the level of 8 points, contributing to stable growth and development even under adverse climatic conditions. Plants have a pyramidal shape and are resistant to lodging, which simplifies care and harvest.
The potential yield of sunflower Bambo ranges from 2.7 to 4.3 tons per hectare under production conditions and up to 5.3 tons per hectare on variety trial plots. The oil content of the seeds is in the range of 48-50%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality oil. Uniform maturity allows planning harvest without losses and with maximum efficiency.
The hybrid is adapted to modern cultivation technologies, such as no-till and mini-till, which help preserve soil structure and reduce cultivation costs. The recommended planting density at harvest time is 45-55 thousand plants per hectare. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150 thousand units and treated with fungicidal seed treatment, ensuring protection against diseases and improving germination.
