Description Krasnodarskaya
The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Vengerka Ajanska and Veliky Gertsog at the North Caucasus Regional Institute of Horticulture and Viticulture. Breeders: E.M. Alexina, L.A. Turovskaya, R.Sh. Zaremuks. Undergoing state variety testing since 1998.
Medium-sized tree, with a bushy crown. Bark is brown, with slight roughness and frequent presence of lenticels. Shoots are curved with long internodes. Bud shape is conical with a pointed apex. Leaf blade is narrow-ovate, 10.5-11.5 cm long, 3.5 cm wide. Leaf blade has loose consistency, slightly concave, moderately hairy on both upper and lower surfaces. Leaf serration is moderate. Petiole is medium-sized, lacks anthocyanins. Stipules are green, linear, 2-3 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide. Two flowers form from one bud. Corolla is cup-shaped with a large diameter (30 mm). Buds are white with greenish-yellow tint. Petals are round, 0.9 mm wide, 1.4 mm long, white, large (126 mm). Petal corrugation absent. Stigma length is 12 mm, slightly curved, rounded stigma tip. Calyx is hairless, cup-shaped, 5 mm long, 2 mm wide.
Fruit is oval, 30 mm high, 13 mm wide. Fruit mass is medium (30 g). No stripes. Abdominal suture is medium, continuous. Skin is medium-thick, easily removable. Fruit cavity is one-colored with flesh. Pedicel is medium (10 mm), medium thickness (1.7-2 mm). Skin color is green, with a blue coating. Stone is oval. Apex and base are pointed. Back suture is widely open, lateral ribs are clearly visible. Ridge is medium, sharp. Stone surface is medium-ribbed and nodular. Pedicel attaches to the fruit at a medium level.
Fruits have a harmonious sweet-sour taste. Sugar content in fruits — 14%, acid — 0.3%, ascorbic acid — 6.2 mg/100g, dry matter — 19.6%, vitamin P — 7.9 mg/100g. Fruit transportability is high. Fresh fruit taste is excellent (4.6 points), processed products — good (4.5 points). Fruits are of universal use. Used both fresh and for various processing methods (compotes, jams, juices).
Flowering begins at medium time (April 6-8). End of shoot growth is marked at the end of October. Variety's heat tolerance is high. Average yield per tree is 65 kg.
Krasnodarskaya variety can be used in breeding work as a source of heat tolerance and high productivity.
