The variety was obtained by selection from seedlings of open-pollinated trees of the variety Alenushka. Originator — GNI All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection. Authors: E.N. Dzhigadlo, A.F. Kolesnikova, Yu.I. Khabarov, A.A. Gulyaeva, I.N. Ryapolova. Under state variety testing since 2004.
Medium-growing tree, up to 2.5 m tall. Pyramidal, spreading, raised crown of medium density. Bark on trunk and main branches smooth, brown. Buds medium, straight, brownish-brown, bare. Flowers numerous, small, white. Buds oval, medium size, apex rounded, slightly deviated from the shoot. Leaf inversely egg-shaped, light green. Leaf apex sharply pointed, base narrow-angled, serrated edge. Leaf blade surface smooth, matte, concave, curved downward. Stipules small, round, located on petiole. Petiole medium in length and width. Number of flowers in inflorescence 3. Corolla diameter 12.7 mm, open. Petals white, touching each other. Stigma position relatively higher than anthers. Stigma length 8.1 mm, anther length 5.5 mm. Calyx bell-shaped, no serration on calyx lobes.
Fruits weighing 40-43 g, round shape, height 44 mm, diameter in two planes 42 x 41 mm. Fruit depression narrow, deep, apex rounded, base with indentation. Fruit color red, many lenticels. Flesh yellow, medium, juicy, fibrous, juice colorless. Length and thickness of pedicel medium, easily separates from branch. Stone egg-shaped, mass 0.9 g, accounting for 2.2% of fruit mass. Poorly separates from flesh. Fruit external appearance rated 4.5 points. Fresh fruit tasting evaluation 4.4 points. Good fruit detachment from pedicel. Fruits resistant to cracking. Table variety. Fruits contain dry matter — 13.0%, sugars — 10.3%, acids — 1.1%.
Flowering occurs early (May 11-18). Fruit ripening occurs early (mid-August). Enters fruiting on the 3rd year. Bears fruit on cluster branches. Partially self-fertile. Resistant to clasterosporiosis. Average yield 99.2 centners/ha, maximum 119.8 centners/ha. High winter hardiness of tree and flower buds.
Advantages: high winter hardiness and yield, good fruit quality.
Disadvantages: under heavy yield, fruits become smaller.
