Description Kolobok
Ribes "Kolobok" is an original variety with large, round berries of a rich red color, weighing from 5 to 10 g. The berries are covered with a thick skin and have a light waxy bloom, ensuring good transportability and storability of the fruits. The taste combines tartness with soft sweetness, thanks to the high content of ascorbic acid and sugar.

The bush is of medium height, reaching up to 1.5 m, has a powerful, spreading structure and weakly thorny branches. The foliage is bright green with veins, indicating healthy plant growth. "Kolobok" is distinguished by high yield, a long fruiting period, and resistance to frost, drought, and diseases. The culture is prone to overcrowding, but with proper care retains a compact size.

For planting, it is recommended to use slightly acidic soil with good drainage; lime can be added if necessary. The variety tolerates dry climates well and survives winter in the ground without thorns shedding. Berries are suitable for consumption in raw form as well as for making desserts, jams, and other sweets, making "Kolobok" a versatile choice for the garden.
