Description Gorgona
Gorgona pepper — a spicy hybrid variety, distinguished by a compact medium-height bush ranging from 30 to 65 cm depending on growing conditions. The plant forms numerous conical fruits weighing about 20-25 g, which change color from green in technical ripeness to red in biological ripeness. There are also fruits of ivory, yellow, and orange shades. The flesh is soft with a spicy flavor, and the heat level varies from 1 to 1000 SHU, making this pepper versatile for fresh use, canning, processing, and drying.

This variety has an early maturation period, with fruits ready for harvest from July to September. Gorgona grows well both in open ground and under plastic covers, as well as in greenhouses and on balconies. The plant prefers sunny locations, fertile soil, and requires regular watering and complex fertilization. Despite its high decorative qualities, the variety is relatively sensitive to cold and does not require bush shaping.

The yield of this variety is low, averaging about 3 kg per square meter when grown under plastic covers. Due to the combination of spiciness, attractive appearance, and versatility of use, Gorgona pepper is popular among lovers of spicy peppers and those who appreciate decorative plants with practical applications.
