Hot pepper variety DRACO is a medium-early type with a maturation period of 100 to 110 days, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers. The plant is bushy, strong, with a semi-spreading form, reaching a height of 0.5 to 0.7 meters. Fruits are elongated, slightly wavy, 10-12 cm long and 0.8-1 cm wide, weighing 50-60 grams with a wall thickness of 4 mm. In technical ripeness, fruits are green, and in biological ripeness — glossy red. Each fruit contains two chambers.
The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 3-4 kg per square meter, with each bush capable of forming 90-100 fruits simultaneously. The pepper has a distinctly spicy flavor with a heat rating of 7 points and a pleasant specific aroma. Due to its flavor and appearance, the fruits are widely used for making paprika, various sauces, pastes, and are suitable for pickling and canning.
DRACO is resistant to many diseases, ensuring a stable and regular harvest. The plant tolerates long-distance transportation without loss of quality.
