Pearl is a mid-season parsnip variety distinguished by its pleasant aroma and taste. The vegetative period is 110–120 days, and the maturity period from germination to harvest ranges from 90–110 days.
The root of this variety has a conical shape with pointed ends and no lateral roots. It is fully submerged in the soil, which provides good protection from external factors. The root flesh is coarse, low in juice content, white in color, and the root surface is uneven with well-developed tubercles. The average root head is convex and weighs 120–200 grams.
The Pearl variety yields between 3 and 6 kg/m², making it attractive for both fresh market and processing and storage. The variety is ideal for winter storage due to its resistance to prolonged periods without access to light. Production is carried out in Germany, where high quality standards are maintained.
