German reliability in your pastures

The «Hercules» ryegrass variety, developed by the experts at Feldsaaten Freudenberger GmbH&Co.KG, represents the quintessence of European perennial grass breeding. In the context of intensive modern farming, selecting the right forage base is a strategic decision. «Hercules» occupies a niche as a reliable and predictable tool for establishing highly productive pastures and hayfields.

Agronomic Profile

The key feature of this variety is the combination of high biological plasticity with minimal management requirements. German breeders focused on stability: the variety demonstrates excellent establishment even on moderately fertile soils, making it an attractive choice for farms aiming to optimize operational costs for land maintenance.

• Usage Type: Establishment of long-term swards, resistant to trampling and frequent mowing.
• Reputation: The Feldsaaten Freudenberger brand is traditionally associated with rigorous quality control of seed material, which is reflected in the uniformity of emergence and the seedling vigor of the «Hercules» variety.
• Cultivation Economics: Minimal maintenance requirements allow for a reduction in field operations while maintaining high biomass nutritional values.

«Hercules» is ideally suited for temperate climate regions where rapid regrowth of the sward is required after grazing or hay harvesting. Yield stability from year to year allows farmers to plan their feed balance with high precision, minimizing the risks of seasonal shortages.
